FCL offers several platforms to download and stream eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, movies, and more. To check out materials through these platforms, you will need an FCL card.
Anyone who lives, works, goes to school, or owns property in Farmington or Farmington Hills may apply for an FCL card. You may apply online for an FCL card by filling out this online form. You will be given a card number via email.

BookFlix is a digital literacy resource that pairs more than 120 animated stories from Weston Woods with a best-selling nonfiction eBook from Scholastic on a similar subject. The fiction and nonfiction pairings are designed to strengthen early literacy skills while exposing young learners to real world concepts. BookFlix is great for struggling or beginning readers – hook them in with video storybook, then share the read-along nonfiction book.
iVOX is an interactive storybook app for kids ages 4-8 that brings stories to life with 3D characters and scenes! The story is read aloud as the words are highlighted at the bottom of the screen—a multi-modal approach that has been proven to aid in literacy development. You can check out up to 12 books at a time and once books are downloaded to the app, the can be accessed offline!
LOTE4Kids is an online resource that allows kids to learn a language and connect with books through the magic of storytelling. Kids can now enjoy 2,000+ eBooks in over 50 languages, together with English translations, from the comfort of home. Watch, learn, and enjoy!
Tumble Book Library is an online collection of over 250 animated, talking picture eBooks for kids! Featuring Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and games and puzzles.
