The Farmington Community Library (FCL) Board of Trustees has two vacancies: one for a City of Farmington representative and one for a City of Farmington Hills representative. FCL Board Trustees serve four-year terms.
The Board meets at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the FCL Farmington Hills location in the Ernest E. Sauter Board Room. The Board is composed of eight Trustees, with four appointed from the City of Farmington and four appointed from the City of Farmington Hills.
The Board is empowered to establish, maintain and operate a public library for the district; to supervise and control library property; to adopt bylaws and regulations; to establish a district library fund, over which it shall have exclusive control; and to do any other task necessary to conduct district library service.
